Homemade Granola

We often use granola in our yogurt or smoothies. We buy a lot of different types to find out the most delicious and healthy ones. 

Unfortunately a lot of brands put a lot of extra sugars in their granola so we decided to make our own! It is super simple and only takes 25 minutes. You can also create new variations every time by adding different seeds. 



The Granola (1jar)

Oatmeal flakes 150 gr
Mixed unsalted nuts (walnuts,almonds etc) 80 gr
Linseed 2 spoons
Water  2 spoons
Coconut oil  2 spoons
Honey 1 spoon
Cinnamon 2 spoons

Preparation Process

Cut the nuts in pieces and put them in a bowl with the oat flakes and linseed. Heat up the coconut oil and at it to the oat. Also add the water, honey and cinnamon and mix it all together.

Place the granola on a baking tray with some baking paper and put it in the over for 20 minutes on 150 degrees.

Make sure the have a nice golden brown color. 

Tips and variations

You can also add;

  • Coconut flakes
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Chocolate chips
  • Raisins 

(Add chocolate and raisins later and do not put them into the oven)
