We already shared a delicious curry with you and this naan bread really fits perfectly with it!
It is great to bake this bread by yourself, really something different and for a lot of people something new, so we recommend trying to bake this soon!
|Natural Yogurt||125 gr|
|Vegetable oil||4 spoons|
Combine the flour, salt and sugar. Make a well in the middle and add the oil, yogurt yeast and half of the water. Knead, using the dough hook of a food mixer or your hands for about 15-20 minutes. The dough should become soft, and come away easily from the sides of the bowl.
Gradually add the rest of the water, kneading it until the dough is smooth. adjust the amount of water or flour until you have the right consistency; soft dough that does not stick to the bowl.
Cover the dough with a cloth and leave it to rest and rise in a dry, warm place. It will double its size.
After 1-2 hours, divide the dough into 6 balls and place them on the floured kitchen desk. Roll out the dough pieces in turn, shaping them into circles approximately 25 cm in diameter.
Heat up a large flat bottomed frying pan and place the dough in it. Cover with a lid and turn the naan after 5 minutes.
Put a knob of butter on top of the naan. repeat the process for all the breads and serve immediately.
