Puff Pastry heart

Most of us surprise our mother with some breakfast or sweets on Mother’s day. But it is super nice to change this into a savory puff pastry heart full with lovely veggies! This one includes asparagus, zucchini, artichoke and goat cheese and it is really easy to prepare.



The heart

Puff pastry 500gr
Yellow zucchini 1 whole
Green asparagus 200 gr
Artichoke 100 gr
Goat cheese 100 gr
Fresh thyme A bunch
Salt and pepper  

Preparation Process

Put the puff pastry into a heart shaped from (when you do not have this you can also use other types of shapes).

Cut the asparagus and let them boil for 10 minutes. Cut the zucchini in slices and place them tidy on the puff pastry. Add the asparagus and the artichokes in the form as well and on top place some goat cheese, fresh thyme and some salt and pepper.

Put this in the oven for 20 minutes on 200 degrees.

Tips and variations

If you like you can also add other veggies.
