Beetroot Quiche

A quiche is a savory open flan consisting of pastry crust filled with eggs, milk or cream, and cheese. This is mostly combines with any type of veggies, meat, fish or poultry. This beetroot quiche is a very tasty vegetarian meal filled with a lot of tasty stuff! You should try it!



The Quiche

Beetroot 350 gr
Feta cheese 200 gr
Spring onions 4
Puff pastry 5 sheets 
Black olives 10
Single cream 150 ml
Fresh parsley 10 twigs
Creme di Balsamico  
Eggs 3
Salt and Pepper  

Preparation Process

Place the puff pastry sheets nicely into a baking form and oil the sides. Cut the feta, beetroot, olives and onions in pieces and mix this all together. Add some salt, pepper and some Crema di Balsamico to this mixture. Put this mixture into the puff pastry form. 

Break your eggs, and add the cream and parsley and mix this with each other. Add this egg mixture on top of the veggies in the baking tray. 

Put the quiche in the oven for 45 minutes on 200 degrees. 

Tips and variations

You can prepare quiche with any type of veggies you like or what you have left in the fridge. 

Therefore it is a great meal to not waste your food.
