Mango Chutney

A mango chutney is delicious with a lot of food! Our favorite it to combine it with our Samosa’s!




The Chutney

Mango 1
Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
Fine sugar 2 spoons
Honey 2 spoons
Ginger piece 2 cm
Chili powder 1/2 spoon
Vinegar 2 spoons
Vegetable oil  
Salt 1/4 teaspoon

Preparation Process

Peel the mango and cut the flesh into small cubes. Fry the mustard seeds in the oil until they pop. Avoid burning them. Add the mango cubes, sugar, honey, grated ginger. chili and salt. Cover and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes until thickened, keeping an eye on it. 

Add the vinegar and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Leave to cool. You can store it in the fridge.
