Meaty Pasta Sauce

This pasta sauce we use for everything; lasagne, cannelloni, pappardelle, etc.etc. We normally make a big pan full of this sauce so we can freeze it in small batches until we use it again.


The Sauce (4pax)

Peeled tomato cans 5
Tomato puree 1 small can
onion 1
Carrots 3
Celery 2 sticks
Minced meat 500 gr
Salt / pepper
Olive oil

Preparation Process

Cut the onion and fry it in some olive oil, add the meat and tomato puree and put some salt and pepper over it. Cut the vegetables and sieve the tomato's from the can's so you only have the juice. Add the vegetables and tomato sauce. Let this slowly simmer for +- 2 hours.
