You can do sooo many things with minced meat! A favorite in our family is the pasta con polpette. This dish was put on the table by Mommy on a regular basis, and as long as Daughter could reminder this dish made everyone happy, every time! So a guaranteed success for the whole family! |Minced meat||500 gr|
|Tomato puree||1 spoon|
|Tomatosauce (our basic recipe)||1|
|Olive oil and sunflower oil|
|Salt / Pepper|
Cut the onion in pieces and fry it in some olive oil together with the chopped garlic.
Put the meat, cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, tomato puree, parsley and some salt and pepper in a bowl. Add the fried onion and garlic as well. Mix everything together and make nice small rounds from it.
Prepare the tomato sauce (see our basic recipe) and add some extra peas.
While the tomato sauce it simmering, fry your meatballs in some sunflower oil till ready. Put them on some paper to get out the oil.
Cook your spaghetti ‘al dente’.
Put the tomato sauce, pasta and meatballs together and serve with some Parmesan cheese.
- When you have some meatballs left, you can easily eat them the next day!
- Instead of pasta, you can also make nice burgers. just put the meatballs with the tomato sauce on a bun with some pesto and mozzarella!
