Pasta with tuna is a classic dish in our family and we know why.. It is simple, tasty and healthy! When Daughter was still young we ate this regularly, probably because of those reasons! Now, Daughter prepares this herself as well.

Ingredients

The pasta (2pax)

Peeled tomato cans 2
Tuna 1 can
Peas 125 gr
Fresh basil Few leaves
Pasta Intergrale (whole grain) 200 gr
Salt / Pepper
Onion 1

Preparation Process

Sieve 2 cans of peeled tomato’s. Cut the onion and fry it. Add the tomato sauce with some salt and pepper.

Cook the pasta in boiling water and add some salt to the water. Add the tuna and the peas into the tomato sauce and let it simmer.

When the pasta is al dente, add it to the sauce and place some fresh basil leaves on top, also add some pepper.

Tips and variations

Cook the pasta al dente! Mostly this is around 8 minutes. Keep tasting every once in a while to make sure the pasta is not getting too soft.
