This is one of the best chocolate cake ever! It includes a real dark chocolate taste and it is delicious as a muffin, cake, pie or brownie. The inside it fluffy totally not dry at all!
We created 2 different types of Christmas desserts from this recipe:
Chocolate muffins and a small chocolate pie. Both look super cute and definitely Christmas worthy!
|Dark chocolate||300 gr|
|Cacao powder (sieved)||2 spoons|
|Dark caster sugar||80 gr|
The white chocolate glaze
|Single cream||180 ml|
|White chocolate||350 gr|
|Vanilla paste||2 teaspoons|
Melt the butter and the chocolate in a pan on low fire. Stir until everything is melted. Then add the sieved cacao powder and the milk and stir well. Let cool down.
Mix with a kitchen machine the eggs and both types of sugar until it is a thick mass.
Add the chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and stir. Then add the flour and stir slowly.
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.
Take a baking form or muffin cups and oil this. Pour the mixture into the forms and put it in the oven.
Muffins: 20 minutes
A pie/ brownie: 50 minutes.
For the glaze:
Heat up the cream in a pan on low fire but not boil it! Cut the chocolate in small pieces and put it in a bowl. Pour the cream on top of the chocolate and stir well until the chocolate is melted.
Put it in the refigerator until it is cooled down.
Then put this mixture into a kitchen machine and mix until you have a cream. Put the cream in a piping bag and put it on top of the muffins or pie.
You can also decorate the pie or muffins.
