Dutch ‘Kletskoppen’

The international ones over here probably do not know what ‘Kletskoppen’ are. It is a Dutch cookie that taste like almonds and sugar. A delicious treat and kids love it.

It is not difficult to bake and you make a lot of people happy by serving them! Good luck!



The Cookies

Flour 75 gr
Butter 45 gr
White caster sugar 120 gr
Milk 30 ml
Salt A pinch
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Almonds (chopped) 50 gr

Preparation Process

Preheat the oven on 180 degrees.

Mix the butter, sugar, milk, salt and vanilla in a bowl until you have a smooth mixture. Add the almonds and flour to the mixture and stir it. 

Take with a teaspoon small parts of the dough and place it on a tray with baking paper. Push the dough a bit so they are a little bit flatter.

Put them in the oven for 6-10 minutes.

Make sure the cookies are not too dark! They will taste bitter then. They also do not need to be too white, as they are not crunchy then. The best thing is to keep an close eye on the cookies in the oven!

Tips and variations

If you want an variance on this cookie, you can add other type of nuts.
