Peperoni Arrostiti

This Peperoni Arrostiti we ate a lot at our uncle Francesco. The smell of the paprika’s out of the oven are so delicious. Finally we prepared them ourselves, and they were amazing! 

They are fantastic on a piece of toast, within a salad or together with some meat. 


The Paprika’s 

Paprika’s 3
Olive oil  
Lemon juice 1 lemon
Salt and pepper  

Preparation Process

Place the paprika’s into a oven or place them on a barbecue. When they get a bit soft  you can take them out of the oven/barbecue and you put them in a plastic bag. Let them cool down. When they are cooled you can remove the skin and the seeds and cut them in small strips. Place the stips on a place and add olive oil, lemon juice, salt and some garlic (small pieces). You can also add some pepper. Mix it all together and let it all soak in the paprika’s for a while. 

Serve it on some bread, with some salad or with meat.
